Never installed one, but I'm in the market too and was just about to ask...

My buddy/mechanic said the best leveling kit to get to maintain stock drivability on my truck is a shackle leveling kit - he said anytime you mess w/ the stock springs- add-a-leaf, mini sping packs, etc, it does affect the feel of the truck...

I found this pro-comp kit for my 02: http://www.stealth-automotive.com/pd...veling_kit.cfm... not sure about your 6.0L though...

ha. I just spoke to Raul last week about it. Of course, for only $125 you can get 4 ES9000 shocks added on... that's only $400... *gulp*

Let me know if you find it cheaper and I'll do the same...

I installed a budget 2 1/2 inch leveling kit on my 05. I know the two are different animals, but i just wanted to pass along what I was told about needing new front shocks. Even though the stock ones will technically still fit, they will not have sufficient throw once the front is leveled.

Also, for those with 250s, you may squat a little - "bulldog stance" unless you add a leaf in the back or put the 350 block back there.

Go to your local muffler shop and tell em to give you a 4" turbo back straight exhaust...you don't need MBRP or Silverline...pipe is pipe. Keep your cat when they take it off, its worth about 100 bucks to recycle.

Is the EPA gonna tackle me in the parking lot w/ my Cat in hand? Did you install your own or have them install it?

I bought a real cheap kit off EBay, but it wont help you, 05+ use coil fronts not leaf. My level was basically just a bucket extension on the coil < $100.

Ya, taking that boat-anchor sized muffler off will be the single biggest pleasure-bringing mod you will do (next to the V3 of course). I STILL get a chubby every time I goose the throttle and hear it bark. That video does not do it justice (ask Clay). I was trying to drive around a corner and shoot vieo out the rear window. In person its MCUH more obnoxious!

I'll tell you what else is a wallet killer: Seeing Snake's truck on the TruckU show. It is a twin to mine except for his killer lift and tires. I am seriously jeallous for those treads!!!!
