  • 2009 Get Together Location Poll - Tell Us Your Choice!

Since I couldn't add a poll to the other thread, I opted to simply start a new one. Hopefully, this will help us determine a firm location for the get together.

No particular method to my madness on coming up with suggested locations, just trying to keep it as central to everyone as possible so everyone can make it in a reasonable time frame.

Looks like Tennessee would be the best choice for the folks from the midwest, north/northeast and anyone from the south, so I basically picked a few spots all over the state. Also, if anyone has a spot they feel would be better, feel free to post it up...that's exactly what this is for. And, if anyone is local (or close by) to any of these locations, any helpful info you could provide on good spots in or around these areas would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

I'm torn between Nashville and Knoxville. Lots of cool stuff to check out and places to hang out in Nashville. May have better camping options in the Knoxville area with the National park right in that area. I will have to sleep on it and vote later.

i voted Memphis. Knoxville would be my preference if i had the time but that adds a whole days time getting there and another day getting home and i just won't have that much time. If i had 2 weeks to take i would say lets meet in NC but thats just not the case.

Clay - I'm not sure what the smiley on the right is saying but if it is what I think it is I am offended. Please remove your post . J/K after pondering where to go I decided I don't really care. If my schedule allows I will be there regardless of location because I heard you were supplying the beverages.

I picked Nashville because my wife has never been. It's easier to plan a trip if she's never been before.
