The installers are in the final stages of putting in my v3. Where did you mount your switches for the system on or around the dash? If you have some suggestions or for those that have a system possibly pictures I really need some help on this.

PDX, I put mine just below the dash, just to the left of the trans tunnel.
Here's a pic...
It's basically just a Radio Shack project box that I cut out to fit. Fabbed up a couple little custom brackets and mounted it to some of the metal that supports the dash.
I really didn't want to cut up the dash so this was the best option for me.
Hope this helps.
Thanks!Greasin & Grinin

As far as modifying the box, I just cut out the back to pass the back half of the switches through. I tried to keep the hole as small as possible while still getting it through there.
On the cover I just traced out the mounting trim ring that the switches go in on the front and used a Dremel tool to cut it out.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!Greasin & Grinin

PDXO2,
Mounted mine about an inch to the right of the steering column (halfway between the column and the 4X4 selector). This ends up being just below the right corner of the instrument cluster. Was a perfect place for me, easy to cut out, no obstructions behind the cut-out, and very easy to reach and operate from drivers seat. Don't have any pics. - Patrick

PD, here's a couple shots again of my switches. They better show how I mounted them to the bottom of the dash. The metal "strap" you see attached to the back of the box is something I had laying around. Not sure that you are familiar with it, but it's the same type of strap they use for securing aftermarket radios at the rear of the radio. If you've ever bought a new one, they usually give you about a 6" long piece of it in case you need it. It's similar to pipe hangar strap, but thicker and much stiffer.
I just cut a couple pieces and bent them to the shape that I needed them. You can see in the pics, that I just used some small screws, washers and a nut on the back side to fasten them to the metal behind the dash. Same thing on the back of the box. Just drilled a couple holes and ran some small screws threw there with washers and nuts on the back.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!

Another question I had is what is the technique you guys have come up with when filling the veg tank, for those that have the filler inside the left rear door or course, to avoid or deal with spills/overflow when filling? I am using a fill rite fuel pump and filling station style nozzle. What about a good way to fill the veg tank when I am out on longer trips where I need to fill the tank using a 5 gallon cubie. Is there some sort of funnel with a bend in the neck that I could use in this situation?2002 Excursion Limited Ultimate 7.3 PSD. DP Tuner NS, Stock, 1100 HI, 60t, 80e, 120r, 140a. 4" MBRP Exhaust.
