mup flaps or flares?

I recently put some 17x7.5 American Racing Assaults on the GreasyX,unforunately I have noticed rocks coming off thde tires and hitting paint.Greasyx is a Y2K Excursion Limited Dark green with tan trim.I don't want to Flexy Flare it (like my 1990 W-350 on 33s),But i don't want to paint it every year.Any suggestions?Bushwacker?diamond plate?Big Ole mud flaps?I wish i could treat it like a over the road truck,4 $20 flaps done.What is everyone running?

I was thinkin' of mud flaps myself, let me know where you get them if you do.
I wish I could get some with that Vegistroke carrot cartoon logo I've seen on Jasons? truck..

Paint matched flares are the way to go I think. I've seen my share of mud and the flaps just stop it from going under your running boards. Flares will keep it all contained in the wheel well for easier cleaning.
