  • Leaking pressure switch question

    Hello all,

Could a leaking pressure switch cause the system to not come on? I'll be checking pressure tomorrow.

    Thanks,
    Brad

I checked pressure today. Veg 68 pounds the first couple of times and only the about 30 the next few times. It built up slowly each time.

I changed the filter per instructions from John to make sure a clogged filter wasn't the problem. The new filter didn't fix the problem. I took the pressure readings after I changed the filter.

Replaced pressure sensor, and all seems to be well. Also, warmer weather helps the system switch over better. I hope to put that Bosch auxiliary water pump in before the fall (LOTS of other projects between now and then)_.

Thanks Marv. I think DFA should make the auxilliary pump an add on for cold/cool weather climates. I still need to figure out where to get power for the switch and what unused poles on the toggle switch to use. At least a schematic and instructions from DFA would be great!
