Mine was on after install because of a vacuum line that was left off when it was started after install. Disconnect the battery cables and it should be gone when you reconnect them. Otherwise, go to Autozone and they will reset it for you. God Luck.

        check engine light?

Mine has been on ever since the install. I cleared it out several times and have figured out that it only occurs when the turbo timer/system flush occurs. I get this waste gate error code and something else (cannot remember).

Now, I just operate the system manually. Much easier than clearing that code every time.

I have had my V3 since July 08 and have never had the check engine light come on. Check your wiring a Greasy said.
