                  Hi

I just wanted to introduce myself, new here on this forum but not new to Veg oil or other forums.
I have a 96 F350 with a pre-vegistroke system, It was installed with Jasons help via fourms and e-mail and even a phone call or 2, while he was deployed in the military. I believe my truck was the 2nd pre '99 PSD to have the vegistroke type system on it. Even though I did all the gathering of parts and making parts as nessairy I give all the credit to Jason for producing the BEST way to run a Powerstroke on veg oil. And looking at the new generation It's come a long way and even better now.

Is it really that difficult to convert a pre-SuperDuty. Have the issues and necessary parts been resolved? I see it costs 600 more for the systems, is this for the extra parts? I'm looking to buy a 98 (97?) and I want to know if it's going to be worth convertiing

                        1997 install

I can fill you in on the pre 99's, I don't think it's a big issue I have installed on an 03 so I can compare. Drop me a PM if you have specific questions.

hey guys hows it goin.. im from Brantford Ontario Canada, and i am currently in the process of obtaining all the pros and cons of the turn key system for my 95 crew cab 2wd dually. one thing i have neard from a few of my customers from the USA they are telling me that some states have some sort of a tax or investment endorsment for this type of systems for personal and commercial vehicles. is this true and if it is does someone have a link i can look at about it. i am trying to talk to my local polition to find out if Canada or Ontario has anything like this up here but i would like to bring all the info i can to the table including all litrature i can find from local and international breaks or funding. thanks for taking the time to read this post.

Seems like you have a business of your own, so another thing you might want to look into is running veggie in a commercial vehicle. I'm not sure how it is north of the border but down here they treat commercial vehicles much differently than passenger vehicles when it comes to how heavily they try to get tax money from you... ie tax evasion.

you are correct.. they try thier hardest to get as much cash out of us as they can.. but thats why i am lookin at this from a business mans point of view. i want to try and run my whole fleet on an alternative fuel and we do not have any type of bio diesel up here like i know how some places have. i am lookin to do 2 things. 1 / to cut down my operating costs . and 2/ try to run my shop as "green" as i can . and i want to do this useing this method.
