  • Anyone Seen This?

I'm not sure if this is vegi related or not, but I am getting a CEL. When I check the code with my X3, I get P0000 or no code at all. I can reset it and the CEL goes off, but it's coming back on after 40-50 miles.

think it's due to the V3... Some trucks get it, come don't.

Think it has to do with fuel pump switching over???

Turns out it was EGR valve not closing properly. Apparently, an X3 will not pick up all the PCM codes or I don't know how to operate it. I had put the engine back to stock prior to adding the Vegistroke. When the light first came on, I put a tune back on it that had the EGR off, but the light kept coming on. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the valve under the 100k warranty. They didn't even ask about the VO system. I guess they have seen so many EGR problems with the 6.0's that it didn't raise any flags. Turned the EGR off with my X3 as soon as they gave me my truck back.

I have a little concern about the EGR cooler clogging up in the long term. I'm not sure what happens in there if the EGR is always off.

        cool.

Yeah, AFAIK it still flows so a proper EGR delete is the 'best' solution.

Post up if you do it (and which one) 'cause I want to.
