    6.0l mileage WVO reports

    Thought it would be cool to get an official list of "miles of burned WVO".

    So far I've got about 1200mi run through the V3. Been up and running about 1.5 mos.

    No issues to report so far... I can tell my EGR is getting clogged again though. No biggie as this has happened to me on diesel once as well at around 38k mi. Basically no throttle response is starting to happen. Same symptoms as when it happened to me originally. Dont know if it would have happened this quickly had I not been burning WVO though?


    I know Clay is probably the 6.0 WVO mileage top dog.

    over 55k miles...not sure exactly without looking again.
    Wilson, get you an SCT X3 tunner and have the custom tunes written to disable the EGR valve. Thats what i did. Eric over at Innovative Diesel writes some nice tunes.

      hmm I already got an XCal... maybe just have Jon Lund do that for me.

      thats all that needs to be done !?!

        Yep... Ask him if he can write his tunes to disable the EGR.

          I'll have 3K on mine by this evening when I get home. That's in about 6 weeks time.

          Good info on the EGR by the way. I'll have to remember that when I get a tuner.

              that's awesome jkosek!

              Have you had to replace any injectors or EGR trouble?
