Found this interesting, slightly humorous and frightening at the same time, so I thought I'd post it up. Doesn't apply to Ford (yet), but still a crazy proposal.
Looks like Obama is now the president of the US Auto Industry. Anyone else see this article?

"If you buy a car from Chrysler or General Motors, you will be able to get your car serviced and repaired, just like always," Obama pledged Monday. "Your warranty will be safe. In fact, it will be safer than it's ever been. Because starting to day, the United States government will stand behind your warranty."
Safer with the US government involved? A government operating with trillons of deficit that cannot even manage the billions already handed out to failing and mis-managed lending organizations? Can't say I agree with that one...
