Thanks man! Actually, this cake was a little late. B-day was the 21st of January. But, since my father-in-law had to work the weekend following my birthday, we held over the traditional family "birthday meal" (b-day person picks what's for lunch - steaks for mine!) to this past weekend.

We had another cake prior to this with my folks a little closer to my birthday.

My Grandmother always told me I had a Polish birthday (celebrate for a week or so). Not sure if that is an actual Polish tradition or not but she always spoiled the crap out of me when I was a kid.

My Grandmother always told me I had a Polish birthday (celebrate for a week or so).

I'm 1/4 Polish... and my wife is 1/2... but raised Polish. They definitely expect special treatment for at least a week... before after and during their birthdays. Fortunately... same rules apply to me.
