Perfection if i do say so myself....... This bed kit is far and above anything you can buy IMO. I think i will start making these to sell. Under the truck the 4" nipple down goes to a short piece (8") of flex pipe, then a hard pipe 90* bend to the straight piece running to the engine. Worked out...

          Rain caps?

Are you gonna put rain caps on those? If not I have seen drains at low point of exhaust, personally I like the look of the rain caps.I have been behind a 6oh CC with capped stacks,it looks awesome going down the road.Caps will "tune" the sound a little, and add visual effect to your truck, kinda reminds me of a "hotshot" truck I used to run for transport.Plenty of sound and better boost for getting the job done,or having fun.............
2000 7.3X V3 So much fun,so little time,Support small Oil,burn WVO,Free and greasy down the road I go!!!!!!!!!!completely self sufficient and proud of it. While just cruising its not loud but under a little boost it begines to "drone"...will be interesting to see how loud it is when pulling a load under higher boost.

Rain caps on a miter cut stack? Never seen them...do you have a pic of that? I was considering what to do about rain and was thinking a hole drilled under the truck at the low point would work. I know if water puddles in them, its going to be all over the truck when i start it up and it will be black water!

              Nice Clay!

              Waiting for vids!!

I was thinking about snow/ice in my situation. I know everyone drills an 1/8" (or so)hole in the low point, but the amt of snow and ice I get would cause a problem I think.

I understand that exhaust is hot and would melt it... but if there is 2' of snow in the stack it isn't going to melt immediately, and would act like a bananna in an exhaust pipe right?

Yeah 2' of snow in your pipes would make a mess when you started it (don't eat black snow ) In your case maybe just hang a couple small coffee cans over them at night when you park...? I could do that also when its raining but often times Oklahoma has a rain storm blow in unannounced in the middle of the afternoon so it would be hit and miss. If i knew rain was coming i could do this and may try it some and see how much of a PITA it is but i will definitely drill a small hole underneath.
I'll do some video as soon as it warms up...i'l have a buddy help me and he can sit in the bed with the vid camera while i roll some smoke and make some noise. I need to do it while driving in a tunnel but theres only one that i know of around here and its right by my office.

Coffee cans are fun... leave em on when you start it and see if you can blow them off.
