    Congrats.

    Details?

On FTE there was a pic thread going, and a guy had 8" stacks on his dually... and they looked amazing. You might think 8" is crazy for a fullsize pick-up but it looked nasty.

You already have a DP right?

These are 5". I like a little bigger but not 8"...lmao. I got 5" thinking i can move my tank back enough to make room for them and if i am wrong, i will sell my 90 gallon tank and get a 60 gal... at which point i could also sell the 5" stax - likely make some money cause i bought em for a song brand new - and buy me some 7".

5" sounds like it'd be the perfect size. 8" would be huge!

You long bed guys must have a lot more room up front that us short bed folks. There's no way I'd get them in there with my tank.

It would still have a 3.5" downpipe and 4" going to the stax. The huge stacks are just for show...and sound maybe.

I've been searching since I got home... can't find the truck. Big Red Dually. I didn't think it looked bad at all (surprisingly).

As far as diameters... your DP should give you enough backpressure. Some people say a 5" exhaust is too big and you're not making any more power than you are with a 4"... but I guess that all depends on what exhaust it is and how much power you're making.

my bud has an all white 03 DRW with 5" stacks... Looks really cool. The 6.0 is too quiet though.

PS- when he ran straight pipe the whistle was WAAAY too much to tolerate after a while, so he put it back on.

                          IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!?!?!

Love the whistle. Thats why guys remove their muffler the foil and hood insulation, so they can hear it more.

No back pressure needed for a 6.0 it makes its own. And huge exhaust isn't needed at my HP levels, its all for show unfortunately....when my ship comes in maybe i will have the disposible cash to build a HRD and tear it up at the track and pulls.

My straight pipe whistles pretty loud. People in my office building can hear me when i drive into the parking lot...they tell me "i heard your jet land"
