Light stays on in off position, sometimes

Started today. I noticed when I started the truck this morning the green light was on in the off position. Everything works, as you can hear the pump running in on and manual. After awhile, I turned it off and light went out. I know that when filter is dirty, the light will come on and off when in automatic. Would this be an indicator of dirty filter also. I have about 3100 miles on this one.

Elvia you might want to call Jason that is what mine did when the pressure switch went bad. It stayed on all the time even in the off position.

If you could check your fuel pressure when the V3 is on, you wouldn't have to guess about the filter being dirty. A pressure guage in the truck is something i couldn't live without.

I called in to the office and I am being sent a new pressure sw. Should get it in the next couple of days. I'll keep you'all posted
