I don't think the private message function works yet. You can have a private message and it will not show on the welcome screen yet. Just a note of a possible bug for debugging.

I have received a PM and have sent 2. I am not sure there is a problem. I will try to send you one.

I did get your message, so, I guess its ok now. I had gotten 2 messages that didn't show up in the welcome screen though.
