  • DFA is Moving!

Just a heads up that we are in the midst of moving. Business has fallen off about 600%(literally) from this summer so we are having to downsize and move to a smaller shop, closer to home. May even have to cut back hours(I might have to get myself a real job!). We are not going away, just restructuring with the new economy. Obama rejected our restructuring plan, and I don't own a bank, so no billions for us. Over the next couple weeks service may suffer a bit as we change phone lines and shipping and such, so the awesome support network on here will be more important than ever. The 1-866 number will stay the same, but the individual numbers will change, so anyone wanting to annoy John will have to get his new number. We will do what we can to minimize the disruption. In the meantime, carry on!

Wow...sign of the times I suppose. Glad to hear that you guys at least have an alternative - some businesses obviously don't.

Best of luck with your move...hope all goes smoothly!

I'm sure that I am not alone in saying that we have confidence in your service no matter where you have to move. I'm sure that the price of fuel will drive your product. Unfortunately for most people the price of fuel will most likley be going up, which is ok with us greasers. Thanks for the heads up.

        Keep your chin up

Summers coming, along with it HIGH fuel prices, and Hyper inflation on everything. All this BS with North Korea is gonna drive prices up as well(Military only runs diesel). You still have the best product in your market segment, and once times get tighter people will opt out on buying fuel.On a different note have you tried selling kits to service truck owners that use alot of fuel(tool truck guys, tow trucks, short buses and big buses),there are alot of 7.3s out there that need greasing......................

There are small busses in my area that run daytrips to the city for games or days of shopping. I always thought it would be cool to be running those trips on grease. If I could find a few 7.3 short busses and start a small business doing weekend runs.......... Now all I need is some $$ and another crazy greaser to go partners.

I got the new address Jason...thanks. I'll send that failed pump so you can warranty it.
I was able to put the older, short V2 pump on so this weekend at the DFW get together, i can still show off my V3 and hopefully send a few sales your way.

Thanks for the support. I am sure we will be just fine. Actually pretty excited about the new shop. More outside storage, newer building, 5 miles from home, and almst HALF the rent. That is the one good thing about now, it is certainly a buyers, or leasers market. So even though we are moving to cut costs and there wil be some pains getting set up again, in the end I think we are going to be a lot better organized.

That's good news Jason. Can't complain about cheaper rent and being closer to home!

I wish you guys the best - your system is first class and I'm really excited to be running it now. As you reorganize and reconfigure, keep up the innovation and product expansions - I can't imagine things won't pick up as fuel prices inevitably go back up. And if you are considering adding other accessories to your product line, I'd sure buy some of the ones bantered around on here.
