hey i know I have seen this talked about briefly on here but I would really like to fab up some sort of hinged protector plate or something out of diamond plate that would protect and possibly keep the manifold a bit cleaner from road debris. Anyone have anything like this that they have put together?

VT, I'd like to see what you've come up with as well. I've thought about this for a while, but just haven't gotten around to it yet. Need to make it a summer project I suppose.
And after crawling under the truck this past weekend, I can say my V3 manifold is REALLY dirty...Greasin & Grinin

WOW..... you mean to tell me that we have reached a point where other people are making aftermarket parts based solely on our product and a need that they see needs fulfillment?!!! I think I'm honored!: But on the other hand you could say that we have ignored peoples request for something like, and in turn letting people down....
I think I'll go with the first thought!!

Or maybe a solid state, software based, usb ported, electronics module which would allow a user to fully set their own parameters pull their own trouble codes for the Vegi System and or their truck because it would communicate with one another as well as be able to download the data to a computer and email to us for trouble shooting and have it WiFi enabled so that when there is a trouble code on the system it would connect to the any WiFi connection and notify DFA of a potential problem allowing us to have a fix on the way before the customer knows that they have a problem and still keeping the cost of the system almost right where it is..........aahhh SHIT did I just say that out loud?
Never mind I as dumb as they come and I know nothing.

Only problem with that set-up is with a cell tower laptop, and "signal sender",I could be tracked with in 15 feet.........no dice, but good idea.Just kiddin man.I used to build metal buildings in my youth, and I know you bend one of those protectors in 20 minutes for about the cost of 1/4 sheet diamond plate. So the profit ratio is there,as well as a desire for such a product from your established client list,I think it would make a good add on to any V3,at a good profit.Oh and I would like one of those WVO programmers minus "signal sender"...........................greasy2000 7.3X V3 So much fun,so little time,Support small Oil,burn WVO,Free and greasy down the road I go!!!!!!!!!!completely self sufficient and proud of it. Uh, not sure what all that meant... but if it meant you are looking into what aftermarket parts folks would be interested in, why not post up another thread about the topic and have folks post away. I'd buy some more stuff from DFA... especially a protector plate.'02 7.3L Excursion Limited; ~242Kmi total; ~157Kmi on WVO

I think I'd prefer something on a hinge though so I can swing it down without unbolting it from the truck.Greasin & Grinin
