Miles on grease

Its funny when I was talking to Jason back a few months ago about how many mile I put on my truck and that I had him beat on a single engine, and the fact that every time I talked to him I was in my truck going somewhere.
Then James said Jason is hard on trucks! Sooooooo I see every one has alot of mile counting up on the Vegistroke system.

I will start I installed at 72k I think (have not drove my truck in 3 months and some change) I have 168,000 mile on my truck now. I will get my wife to look at the truck!

Hey Daniel. Good to hear from you. Don't have all my records in front of me right now but I think you did my install at 52,000 back at the end of May and I am just over 70,000 now.

I installed mine at just over 100k on the truck, and have put a little more than 5k flawless miles on the V3, still on the original Donaldson filter.

Looking forward to putting a ton of miles on it in the coming year

oh and i ran all last summer on grease in my 2 cyl. diesel tractor...only about 15 gallons. That dude will brush hog alot of grass on a 6 gallon tank.

Dan did the install on my first van at 140,000 in june of 07. It will roll over 200,000 this week, almost all on veggie.

My second van got its V3 at 86,000 in April of 08 and will hit 160,000 pretty soon.

So about 75,000 total miles for me!!!

That's cool... What did you do to it, just pour it in and go?

Basically yes, its a heated system once the tractor gets hot as the injector lines get hot from the close proximity to the engine and the fuel tank does also. I will install some injector line heaters before next summer so i can get the vegi hot that way untill it all heats up.
Its an old IDI diesel like the MB that some people run single tank conversions on.
My intention was to pull the head off this winter and have a looksee inside after running it last summer...haven't gotten around to it yet.
