    I just drove the length of New York State and back; I got 835 miles on a tank of wvo for ~ 14 mpg. Not too bad for a truck this size!

    702 on a 36 gallon RDS tank(X cargo area tank)=19.5 MPG (tires @70PSI,[email protected],AC no windows down,coasting into off ramps.This was done with 44 gallons of #2 on board and three adults and 2 children.Last Aug to montreal and back,with side stops and site seeing........one tank......greasy
    2000 7.3X V3 So much fun,so little time,Support small Oil,burn WVO,Free and greasy down the road I go!!!!!!!!!!completely self sufficient and proud of it. (Wood furnace.....X.......solar pontoon....solarsheat twins this summer.....I don't Know much.......I'm just a hillbilly with too many guns..............

      That's pretty darn good man. I've never had a completely full tank, nor have I kept up with total miles to one "batch" of vegi.

      I figure with a full 60 gallon tank, I could get pretty close to 800 if not a little better. I know I covered a little over 600 with around 3/4 tank, so 800 should be doable.

        Geez Greasy...you make my truck look like a pig!

        No way in heck I'll get close to 19 MPG again...I can forget that.

          Just a few tricks i learned driving big rigs............a dollar goes alot further on WVO,and 8,600 lb X,My old rig weight was 31,199,12ft10 tall 56 feet long with a total of 10 tires and 1 spare..................7 MPG on a good day..........greasy

            I usually get about 15mpg on oil.

              Well I do not know how far we really got on just one tank of oil but I do have a 100 gallon tank. We did however just get back from a trip of 4083 miles and used only 17 gallons of diesel fuel.

                    Best so far was 7500 miles on 15-20 gals of B100...:chuckles: 3 wk round trip Seattle to GA to SC (methanol run), back to GA then return to Seattle!!
                    2001 F350 XLT 4x4, dually flatbed. 6637 air filter, single-shot injectors, straight-piped, BTS tunes, 200 gal main VO tank - 180k greasy miles

                        oops! 200 gal VO tank - 10mpg loaded and 15-18mpg empty and VO 75% of the time (or more)

                            I've been getting 750-800 on my 51 gallon tank. I'm sure that will start going down rapidly since the hubs are going to be locked in 4x4 a lot more on my snowy, icy, 10% grade daily commute!
