  • Question on filter heater band

Was doing some troubleshooting for a pump issue and noticed the heater band was not getting hot when I had the system manually switched on. If the system is not up to temp and I switch the system on to "manual", should the band heat up? - Patrick

Check the fuses on the controler card..one of them is for the heater band.

Lancaster- The way the system is wired the heater jacket will not come on in "manual on" until the systemis up to temp.

That is good to know! I'm not sure why it was designed not to come on until after the truck is at temp.
