Goo gone is a citrus based degreaser/graffiti remover that I use in my part time gig at the ice rink to get crap off the walls (puck marks, marker, etc...) and it doesn't harm latex wall paint, so I decided to use it on my tailgate. It had become COVERED in a mixture of dried WVO and diesel soot that carwash soap would not touch. It took some elbow grease and complete ruined a terrycloth towel, but it got every last bit of gunk off of the paint without hurting it. The stuff is basically made of orange oil, so it leaves an oily residue which I just washed off with soap and water. Anyway-check it out-this is the single best solution I've tried for dried on WVO.
