  • Greasecar Install in Diesel World Magazine

    Wow.

If the coverage on the install only covered 1/2 of the actual work needed, it was still 5x more than a Vegistroke install. I couldn't believe the huge differences in approach and execution between the kits. I'm so happy I did my research and bought the Vegistroke.

No offense to Greasecar, I appreciate their effort, and they have some good ideas, but it seemed very "kit" to me, and not really an OEM type solution/installation.

Diesel World has been all over alternative fuels and MPG since I've been a subscriber. I think DFA should send out an e-mail or 2 so that the SVO conversion they covered doesn't scare everyone away.

Anyway... thanks to DFA for simplifying the solution to high fuel prices and allowing guys like me to do something unique and satisfying that the wife doesn't mind me spending money on.

I almost bought the Grease car kit, they had it in stock and everything (probably generic parts?), Then I went out and bought a 7.3 Excursion, and thank my stars I found out about Vegistroke. I figured it was worth the extra money, it was made just for Fords, Jason used to do what I do, so he must have his head on tight, & I reasoned that it was worth the wait...and yes it was. My company logo is "Customer service is our job, Customer satisfaction is our reputation!", & I think Jason, James & the whole crew fully embodies, exercises, & understands this concept.
