  • T-shirt (and general advertisement) ideas

Since James and Jason have mentioned the possibility of having T-shirts for sale in the near future, I figured I'd start a thread to get some ideas from the members. Maybe Jason and James will pick one to go along with the new logo that's coming out.

My first thought was a shirt that had a small logo on the front (left side of the chest where folks usually put a logo) and a larger logo on the back with the statement:

"I love the smell of vegetable oil in the mornings."

I saw a shirt a couple weeks ago that was similar, but was for a jet fuel company. I thought the saying would be good, but with vegi instead of jet fuel.

So throw out some ideas and see what we can come up with.

    Thanks!

      I like simple.

The old logo was pretty cool to me... but I simple T (decent quality) with the logo on it works for me.

PS- make one free to Vegistroke owners. (We'll pay for shipping) Or something like 10.00 shipped?

I agree with Wilson Free is better.

My back window has a FORD oval... underneath is one of my VEGISTROKE stickers. I think that helps get the poiunt across.

Another idea that came to mind was a Vegistroke tag (plate) for the front - like the "CAT" tags that a lot of guys run.

Or maybe a Vegistroke tag ring for the license plate...hmm.

I dunno Marv. As Much as I like to talk about the vegistroke, I keep no visible stickers on my truck (1 vegistroke under the hood for me ).

The way I see it, it will give another guy a good idea and next thing I know my oil is not there when I was expecting it...

I advertise when I blow a nice juicy plume of smoke out my tailpipe hehe.

                        Road tax

Same here,I don't even have Diesel Emblems.Eventually the Gubbament will get pissed about the road tax thing, and i don't want to give them Evidence to use against me.My sticker are out of site but they are on it.The beauty of the V3 is Stealth install, pop the hood and you can't even tell its converted.I would love to tell EVERYONE but, lets keep it our secret.Just remember diesel pays .25-.45 cents a gallon for road tax,I think I'll pass on that tab.....grease out

I have 3 Vegistroke stickers... 2 on each back passenger window, 1 on the back window as well as the DFA sticker back there.

A long one on the hood would be nice though.

Eh, that's a good point and I have considered the implications of excessive advertisement. Perhaps that's why I haven't even put my stickers on the truck yet.

Just a suggestion. I doubt most of the general public would even realize or make the connection of the truck running vegetable oil.

I also agree with Greasy...the penalties of running un-taxed fuel wouldn't be much fun.

I originally put 2 stickers on my truck, but removed them. Once I had thought about it, there are lots of jealous/envious people out there that would turn you in for spite. So, advertising is a no no for me. And as previously said, the more people around you collecting, the less for you.
