Help Me Make It Idiot proof!

Since I am currently in the market for a truck, what else should I expect to have to do, or should I do to make my "idiot proof?" Is there a chip that will make it run better, not necassarily a big boost in performance, just run better? Should I upgrade the exhaust? Any gauges that will make my life easier? Once I have the truck and the kit, I'd ,ike to do as much as possible before putting it on the road. I realize we are never done tinkering, but I'd like to cover as much as possible when I have it apart for the conversion.

If your getting a 7.3 look into a DP tuner, 4" exhaust, aftermarket intake and for guages i would have aan EGT and boost. May as well get a fuel pressure guage since your looking into the Vegistroke.

visit this site and register...i am on there quite often. They also have an alternative fuels section. - theres lots of info there on these different mods as well as vendors who can give you competitive quotes for them.
