  • A list of problems encountered

As information on this forum builds, it may be helpful to have a thread where problems with the system may be listed. Additional information as to where the thread could be found would provide a quick way to access the discussion. I would like to suggest the following format:

    1. A brief listing of the problem encountered
    2. The name of the thread where discussion occurred
    3. The date and screen name of the thread originator

Hope this can be useful – Patrick

It does sound like lots of extra work.
It is my belief that Once the forum is completed, most things will be covered and organized.

Thought it would be a good idea and would take care of itself with each person listing their particular experience. Sometimes searching on a forum for a topic ends up being a lot of reading until you come across the keyword you entered. Was just a thought. - Patrick

It is a good idea but we really just don't have the time to field all that info especially when this forum gets busy some day. But again its a good idea to catalog all that info but the man power for it just isn't there right now.

The information is free at least. There is a search function and I have little trouble finding a topic i am looking for using it.
I'm sure we can do something like that and i was serious when i asked if you would maintain it.

Thanks for the input everyone. My intent was that this could function as any other thread where one could list problems they have had. I didn't see a need for the info to be organized any further (might not have been useful that way). Movin on. - Patrick

Getting people to post to it may be hit or miss but i see what your saying. Thanks for the suggestion!

Patrick - Instead of searching for "threads" search for "posts" contianing that text. If you think the hit is valid you can read that thread.

CTRL + F and then retyping the keyword you searched for will also work, once that thread is open. Once threads exceed 20 pages... searching every page for that word is tough. All depends on how hard you want to try.

                            Why water/meth instead of Propane?

And since you mentioned it first, I don't have to make a seperate thread, just yet.

Has anyone used Propane with their vegi? I ask because I'm currently paying $2.00/gal for filtered oil and I've heard of guys doubling their fuel mileage on a propane system.

I'm going to try and contact these guys and see how much propane they consume to double the life of a fuel tank. If it is a 20lb grill tank... and they get 2x the fuel mileage... I can fill the propane for $10.50. If I'm saving $72 in oil because it lasts me 2x as long... seems like I would benefit from a propane injection system.

Then... I would add water/meth on top of that to cool my EGTs...

                            Make sense?
