  • Perfect paid Vacation!!!!

I am starting a small light trucking service (not for hire, type deal). This is my Idea ,hauling Bikes to Rallies;Daytona,Sturgis,Americade,ETC,ETC.My fuel cost would be$0,or next to nothing.I have seen people are charging between $700-$1000 for transporting Bikes 1200+ miles round trip.Anyone think of this before?I figure 8 to 10 bikes in a car hauler=$8,000 to $10,000 for a 10 day vacation paid.It would be as simple as meeting at the airport. As always looking for opinions and input....Reminds me of the days of "hot shot" trucking, ahh the good old days..................grease out

there are also peeps who will pay to transport there car to a summer destination such as Florida. Retired folks going from there winter homes to there summer homes and they want to fly rather than drive.

You may have to carry additional insurance... or may want to.

The last 2 bikes my dad hauled to Daytona were about $50k each.

It is a great idea though. A lot of these older guys have the time and the money to travel to Sturgis/Daytona but they can't ride that far, and would rather fly.

Here in cali we have to have a $1,000,000 blanket policy to haul grease, $2,000,000 if it for a business, it is less than $400.00 a year. Same policy you would need for hauling pretty little show bikes for RUB's

Ah, I didn't realize your current policy covered the bikes in tow/loaded as well. It varies from state to state.

I ride a Boss Hoss... I get crap all the time... some guys have no idea.
